Cocoa Butter and Beeswax act as natural moisturizers and create long lasting protection. Sweet Almond Oil adds the perfect glide for easy application and helps add much needed moisture. Our Lip Butters help to seal in your lips own natural moisture, preventing them from drying out. Very healing to chapping, our lip butters do not produce any dependence which is common in petroleum based lip balms. Petroleum and mineral oils feel slick but are dehydrating due to their pore blocking nature and lack of penetration beyond the top layer of the epidermis. All-natural Green Apple Flavour adds the popular crisp scent and juicy taste. This one is a staff favourite!
Please note that our Lip Butters do not contain any sunscreen. We are very interested in producing sun-blocking lip butter in the future, but the Canadian government severely restricts the production of sunscreens. To produce these items, a manufacturer must register to produce either pharmaceutical drugs or natural health products like vitamins. Also, depending on the active ingredient chosen for SPF, the product must bear either a DIN or a NPN. For a company like us, these are both very difficult ventures. We are actively working towards this in the future.
