An excellent skin softener and moisturizer, Cocoa Butter is also praised for its ability to help replenish skin after sunburn. St John's Wort is used externally to speed healing of 1st˚burns & reverse inflammation, reduce skin itching and irritability. Aloe oil has healing and restorative properties. Arnica contains an ingredient apparently able to stimulate local skin blood flow and enhance metabolism of epithelial cells. Calendula helps to protect skin from over drying as well as sun-induced wrinkles and sun caused aging, due to the high content and diversity of carotenes, phytosterols, polyphenols, and EFAs. Comfrey Oil soothes and heals inflamed tissues, and it helps reduce swelling, and pain in a most remarkable way. Lavender essential oil is one of the earliest studied essential oils to show burn-healing & soothing properties. Peppermint essential oil is added to cool and soothe.Chamomile essential oil speeds healing and relieves redness.

Apply Sun Butter liberally after sun exposure or anytime to soothe irritated skin. Ideally used after a cool shower. Our healing combination of oils and aromatherapy relieves pain, protects burnt or dried-out skin and aids in the prevention of peeling. Also great for long lasting relief from severely dry skin, windburn, chapping.
Avoid contact with eyes. Not a sunscreen product. Do not use for tanning. For severe sunburns, seek medical attention. This product contains nut oil.
The Sunburn Soother is also very useful for burns when you do silly things when opening the oven door! I have also appreciated using it on "road rash" after wiping out on granular snow at the Nordic Centre. It is a wonderful product, and I truly love it!
