How Rocky Reserve Supports The Yarrow

Rocky Reserve is a premium experience crafted with a holistic approach to source high quality ingredients, formulate locally and give back to the land that sustains us so it’s here for generations to come. To achieve that goal, this holiday season we’ve committed to donating three percent of the proceeds from Rocky Reserve directly to the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) to help protect The Yarrow.

What’s the Nature Conservancy of Canada?

The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is Canada’s leading national land conservation organization.As a private, non-profit land trust, they work collaboratively with individuals, Indigenous communities, other non-profits and governments at all levels to accelerate conservation across the country. Their mission is simple: to protect natural areas that sustain Canada’s plants and wildlife. Since 1962, generous donors and partners have helped them protect 15 million hectares across Canada, and they’re far from done.

What’s The Yarrow?

The Yarrow is a stretch of 1,650 hectares of incredible natural beauty and ecological diversity along the edge of the Rocky Mountains in southwestern Alberta. From ponds and lakes to forests and rolling plains, its habitats are home to an incredible array of wildlife, like grizzly bears, boreal toads and trumpeter swans, to name just a few. All told, The Yarrow is home to more than 100 different species of wildlife — 27 of which are under heightened risk from habitat loss, climate change, pollution and other threats. By donating to NCC, we’ll work together to support their mission to keep this land intact and to preserve its natural beauty.
