There's nothing like coming home to the sweet and spicy smell of a holiday pie baking in the oven. It has a magical way of warming the body and relaxing the spirit.  It's tempting to artificially create these delicious scents in our home with scented candles or air fresheners, but there's such an easy alternative that's 100% natural and toxin-free. Using everyday ingredients from your kitchen like cinnamon sticks, apple peels, orange rinds, cloves, fresh or dried herbs, vanilla, and a few drops of your favourite essential oils, you can quickly make your home smell like you've been baking all day. Try some of our favourite combinations below:

  • Orange, cinnamon & cloves
  • Lemon, rosemary, & vanilla
  • Lime, thyme, mint & vanilla
  • Orange, ginger and almond extract
  • Lavender & vanilla

Simply simmer these sweet smelling ingredients in a pot of water & let their natural scents fill the air. Secret? You can add as much of (or as little of) each ingredient, based on what you love the most. We promise it will be amazing! Prefer a no-cook option? We created our new Vanilla Ginger mister just for you! Now breathe deeply & smile. You've just created a wonderfully delicious and toxin-free winter retreat to enjoy.
