We love keeping things local. We’ve partnered with Milk Jar—a Calgary-based candle company from our home province of Alberta—to create a custom coconut wax candle collection. Plant-based and clean-burning, these candles feature aromatic essential oils and a crackling wooden wick, offering a smooth, even burn—crafted to bring comfort, ambiance, and a moment of pause to your everyday.

We recommend burning your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time, and trimming the wooden wick after each use. With proper care, your candle can burn for 40+ hours. Always keep it in sight, in a safe place, and away from children, pets, and flammable items.
Burn within sight, away from flammable objects, children and pets. Burn on heat-safe surface. Avoid drafts. For best results, burn until wax melts evenly across. Do not exceed 4 hours. Keep wax pool free of debris. Keep wick centered and trim to 2-3 mm each time candle is lit. Stop candle when 1/2” of wax remains. Do not move or touch while hot. Discontinue use if wick moves off-centre.
What type of wax are the candles poured in?
Our candles are made with natural coconut wax for a clean, smooth burn. The formula is free from palm, soy, and paraffin.
What is used to create the scent?
Each candle is scented with a blend of 100% essential oils. They do not contain any phthalates or synthetic fragrances.
What type of wick is used?
Our candles are made with a crackling wooden wick which contains no heavy metals and results in a cleaner burn. Wooden wicks are eco-friendly, disperse scent quickly, and create a warm, cozy ambiance with their soft flicker and gentle crackle.
How long will my candle burn?
These 8 oz candles offer approximately 40–45 hours of burn time with proper care and wick trimming. For best results, refer to our candle care tips.
Is the glass vessel reusable?
Absolutely. These jars are part of the Rocky Refills Program—just return your empty one to any Rocky store. If you'd prefer to reuse it at home, try freezing it to remove leftover wax or placing it in boiling water to loosen the wick clip. Then wash with hot, soapy water and repurpose however you like.
