For best results, wet hair and rub the bar on your hair until it lathers. Work the lather with your fingers before immediately rinsing hair. Get your scrub on to ensure all the shampoo is rinsed out. Repeat if necessary.

The concept of it is great and I love the smell, but I think the castor oil makes my hair oily a day after. I trust that Rock Mountain Soap will perfect it for all hair types.

Lathers well

I am satisfied with this shampoo bar because it lathers well and does not disintegrate unlike other shampoo vars I’ve tried. It does not leave a waxy feeling on my hair and scalp. My only wish is that it would come in a more flowery scent like my favourite geranium bar soap.

The only shampoo that we have in the house. This soap bar shampoo is fantastic.

Leaves my hair heavy and greasy looking

I love rocky mountain soap bars and use them for face wash, body wash, shaving, and hand soap. So I obviously wanted to try their shampoo bar. Starting from the first wash, it left my hair greasy, so much so that I tried re-washing the next day, with the same effects. It will be unusable to me, unfortunately. I'll have to find a supplier of my previous shampoo bar instead.

It is OK

This shampoo bar has a decent scent, pretty much what you'd expect. I've used the liquid shampoo version from RMS before, and I think I still prefer the texture it gives my hair. However, I'm trying out shampoo bars because I want to be more earth-friendly. Considering the price, I can't complain. I'd consider buying it again as a backup when trying out other shampoo bar options or for in-between washes.
