Scrub. Plump. Quench. Repeat.

Let's face it, our lips don't always get the love and attention they deserve. Sure, we probably have a lip balm in our purse...and our car...and each of our jackets, but not many of us actually care for our lips as we do for out face or body.

We all have our favourite lip products that we keep on hand, but there is a lot more that you can do to perfect your pucker that just butter your lips up from time to time.

Here are our recommended steps to achieve your loveliest lips ever:

1.Scrub. You'll want to start with a clean slate, so use a gentle scrub to exfoliate and remove dry skin. You can use an extra soft toothbrush, make your own scrub or use one of our face polishes.

Super Sweet DIY Lip Scrub

Mix one teaspoon of honey with two teaspoons of sugar. Massage the mixture into your lips and leave for about 10 minutes. Rinse or gently wipe away with a damp washcloth.

2. Plump. Give your lips a little oomph with a natural lip plump. There are plenty of natural spices that can be used to increase the blood circulation in your lips. Our favourite is cinnamon, because it's also delicious! Mix a little of the spice with some water to make a paste, then let it work it's magic and wipe off any excess before the next step.

3. Quench. Last, but certainly not least, choose a pretty Lip Quench tint in your favourite shade to hydrate your lips and keep smooth. Moisturizers like avocado oil, coconut oil, vitamin E and beeswax are all work together to keep your lips soft and supple.

Did you know you can upcycle your Lip Quench packaging?
