Fall is in the air. Our new Vanilla Chai Community Bar has arrived just in time for the cooler evenings of September. Loaded with shea butter, spicy cardamom, and warm vanilla, this new soap feels like a cozy, warm hug.
Chai originates in India and is traditionally made with black tea, whole milk, and fragrant spices such as cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. There are a few reasons why you will want to add chai tea into your morning routine:
Heat water in kettle or small saucepan. Once boiling, place the chai tea bag and hot water into a mug to steep for 5 minutes.
While the tea is steeping, warm vanilla oat milk in a small pot over low heat. As milk warms, add maple syrup to milk mixture. When tiny bubbles begin to form on the edges of the pan and milk is steaming, remove from heat.
Place the end of your frothing wand (if you have one) into the warm milk and foam for 15 seconds.
Remove tea bag from mug and add oat milk.
Stir chai tea and oat milk mixture together with cinnamon stick to infuse flavour.
Garnish with nutmeg and enjoy.
