We love keeping things local. We’ve partnered with Milk Jar—a Calgary-based candle company from our home province of Alberta—to create a custom coconut wax candle collection. Our candle boxes are made with FSC-certified paper, sourced from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits.

Reusable Glass Jar

Each candle is poured into a durable glass jar designed to be reused—whether as a new home for pens, plants, or more candles.

We recommend burning your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time, and trimming the wooden wick after each use. With proper care, your candle can burn for 40+ hours. Always keep it in sight, in a safe place, and away from children, pets, and flammable items.

Burn within sight, away from flammable objects, children and pets. Burn on heat-safe surface. Avoid drafts. For best results, burn until wax melts evenly across. Do not exceed 4 hours. Keep wax pool free of debris. Keep wick centered and trim to 2-3 mm each time candle is lit. Stop candle when 1/2” of wax remains. Do not move or touch while hot. Discontinue use if wick moves off-centre.

I keep reordering this

I keep reordering this candle because I love it that much. I've tried tonssss of candles over the years searching for one that's natural and doesn't use fragrance oils. Also love the scent of this - for me, it isn't overpowering and has some of my fave essential oils.

Milk jar has incredible candles, I’ve been a big fan of everything from the wax to the jars which I reuse for many things in my house (makeup brush holders, pen holders, my lip chaps by the door) and paired with Rocky’s scents it’s a dynamic duo, always a recommend

I love my candles and am super sensitive to certain scents. This one was given to as a gift and it’s my favourite and it’s almost gone. I want to get more but as someone else mentioned, not wild about the green glass. Clear / neutral is best for me but I’ll
likely still get it. Great product overall. :)

This candle is amazing! I light it whenever I need to feel calm and relaxed after a busy day. It fills the house with a fresh, clean and uplifting scent. I love that it burns so evenly and does not have a perfuming or overpowering scent. I smells like nature! Can't wait to treat myself to another scent and it will definitely be on my Christmas wish list.

Favorite candles

Love that these are natural smelling and use essential oils. Also love the cracking wood wick. Taking a star off for the new packaging. The green doesn’t match my decor and I preferred the clear glass to see the flame

Elegance lost

I am so sad the appearance of Candel was changed. The original clear glass was elegant and had a spa like feel. It could fit in to every room with the clear glass. Not a fan of the dark green and the Large word Rocky on it. These were the only candels I buy. I drove 45min to closest store to purchase them all the time. I really hope they will consider going back to the beautiful simple clear glass and soft labels. Cannot gift them anymore either as they will not suit everyone's decor taste :(

I'm not a candle person, never buy them. Until I smelled this one while waiting for a friend to complete her purchases. The scent is very pleasant and refreshing, not overpowering like many candles. Clean burn is also a great feature, no nasty after burn smoke.

You mean I can make my home fragrant AND it's natural! Like hello!! And these candles last forever.... it's a win win. The smell is beautiful, the wick is wood and super slow burning. I light my candle probably twice a week for 6 hours total between the two days. Love love. Definitely a repurchase for me

Doesn’t stay lit!

Unfortunately I have not been able to enjoy my Freedom candle as it won’t stay lit for longer than a minute. Something is not working with the wood wick

I always have a candle in the bathroom for ambience while soaking in the bath. I wanted a clean burning candle that wasn’t over powering. This is such a lovely addition to my evening relaxation routine. Love it.
