Amazing smell

Needs minimal amount, great aroma, not overpowering, and soft light finish

RMSC’s oat lotion is fantastic for my husband’s skin. He is sensitive to conventional products and even many « clean » products. This lotion is safe for him and also has a great scent that he and I both enjoy.

Delightful Full Body Lotion

This lotion is lovely! The scent is very strong when you first apply, but immediately dissipates into a lovely forest smell. I just wish it came in larger refill bottles, when you're using it as full body lotion instead of hand lotion it would be nice to save the packaging.

The overall experience was good ! The balsom fir & cedarwood smell was a little light , would prefer a stronger pine smell. The price is a little to high for me.

Amazing scent and very moisturizing!

My partner and I actually aren't huge on scented products but we both love this one! I hope they'll come out with a way to refill this product soon instead of having to buy one each time for reusability sake. That aside the glass it comes in is great quality! We usually reuse it for other things in the house.

Best lotion for winter

This is a beautiful, moisturizing lotion. The scent is very calming and soothing balsam fir and cedar wood. This is a great hand cream for our Canadian Winters that can dry out the skin. I recommend this Rocky lotion for daily use.

Great lotion, but very minty

This was my first time trying a Rocky Mountain Soap product, and I had high hopes for the Grove Hand Lotion based on its description. However, what I received was overwhelmingly minty. The scent reminds me strongly of Vicks VapoRub, with no trace of the earthy, woodsy notes I expected. Even a coworker immediately made the comparison when I applied it.

I’m honestly a bit surprised by how strong the mint is, since none of the reviews I read mention it at all. Most describe the scent as woodsy and well balanced, with no mention of a strong peppermint note, so it’s possible there’s some variation between batches. From the moment it’s applied to long after it dries, all I smell is mint.

On the positive side, the lotion itself feels great. It absorbs quickly, leaves my hands soft, and isn’t greasy. I also really appreciate that it’s a Canadian-made, cruelty-free product. The only drawback for me is the scent, which makes it difficult to use anywhere outside home.

If you enjoy strong peppermint fragrances, this could be a great choice. But if you’re expecting a more balanced, forest-like scent with just a touch of mint, you may want to sample it if you can before committing.

Fantastic hand lotion

I had very dry, cracked hands before using this product. Other hand creams I used in the past left my hands feeling very greasy and would cause reactions. This product luckily did not! I am so thrilled to have finally found a hand lotion that actually works for me! I started a new hand routine of washing my hands with bar soap instead of liquid and using this lotion. Haven't had this soft of hands since I was a young teenager. Never going back!
