We love keeping things local. We’ve partnered with Milk Jar—a Calgary-based candle company from our home province of Alberta—to create a custom coconut wax candle collection. Our candle boxes are made with FSC-certified paper, sourced from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits.

Reusable Glass Jar

Each candle is poured into a durable glass jar designed to be reused—whether as a new home for pens, plants, or more candles.

We recommend burning your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time, and trimming the wooden wick after each use. With proper care, your candle can burn for 40+ hours. Always keep it in sight, in a safe place, and away from children, pets, and flammable items.

Burn within sight, away from flammable objects, children and pets. Burn on heat-safe surface. Avoid drafts. For best results, burn until wax melts evenly across. Do not exceed 4 hours. Keep wax pool free of debris. Keep wick centered and trim to 2-3 mm each time candle is lit. Stop candle when 1/2” of wax remains. Do not move or touch while hot. Discontinue use if wick moves off-centre.

“Happy” with Happy Hour

Like everything, it depends on what you’re looking for in a candle. As much as I enjoy seasonal scents, I sometimes find candles too cloying or simply overpowering in their scents. I wanted something subtle and pleasant that wasn’t an assault on the senses: a gentle combination of ingredients that you could light at the end of everyday, no matter what the climate was outside. Happy Hour completely delivers. I will definitely be purchasing more.

BEAUTIFUL JAR BUT ZERO SCENT THROW

I am a huge Rocky fan and was excited to try out their candles. I love the jar and branding but I had almost zero scent throw. I had the candle lit for 3 hours and genuinely couldn’t smell anything unless I had my nose practically in the candle. Very disappointing.

Love the scent. The wick is slightly temperamental and sometimes a bit of a challenge to get lit. It always lights but I have had easier candles to deal with.

Love the candles and their scent was very love but the wick didn’t work well and had to dig it out of the wax a bit to get it to hold a flame.

No scent

Was super excited to purchase the larger size of this candle. Unfortunately I was disappointed, there us hardly any scent. For a 40$ candle I just expected a bit more. Love everything else from this store though! Maybe this was a one off.

A nice candle but I hated the wick. Gave an uneven flame and died out within 30 minutes.
