We love keeping things local. We’ve partnered with Milk Jar—a Calgary-based candle company from our home province of Alberta—to create a custom coconut wax candle collection. Plant-based and clean-burning, these candles feature aromatic essential oils and a crackling wooden wick, offering a smooth, even burn—crafted to bring comfort, ambiance, and a moment of pause to your everyday.

Our candle boxes are made with FSC-certified paper, sourced from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits.

Reusable Glass Jar
Each candle is poured into a durable glass jar designed to be reused—whether as a new home for pens, plants, or more candles.

We recommend burning your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time, and trimming the wooden wick after each use. With proper care, your candle can burn for 40+ hours. Always keep it in sight, in a safe place, and away from children, pets, and flammable items.

Burn within sight, away from flammable objects, children and pets. Burn on heat-safe surface. Avoid drafts. For best results, burn until wax melts evenly across. Do not exceed 4 hours. Keep wax pool free of debris. Keep wick centered and trim to 2-3 mm each time candle is lit. Stop candle when 1/2” of wax remains. Do not move or touch while hot. Discontinue use if wick moves off-centre.

This candle keeps going out

I would have loved this candle as I love Lavender and Frankincense essential oils, however, the candle I received keeps going out. I noticed upon opening it that the top of the wooden wick was very close to the wax and I believe wasn't long enough to sustain a flame. It is sporadic in keeping a flame, and it doesn't stay lit long enough to get the scent too much. The flame is also quite low before it goes out on its own so the enjoyment of having a little crackling "fire" is unfortunately not there.

Great smell.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift! I’m sure it will delight the recipient!

Overall love that these candles are clean (not toxic and full chemicals) the packaging is nice/ clean/ modern. Love the wooden wick as well. The only things keeping me from a 5 star rating is the flicker from the candle bothers my eyes especially when dim or dark, and the price.

Pretty awful!

Awful smell! When I opened the box and smelled something horrible, I knew I was in trouble. The wick is a fire hazard! The dry, wood wick spit out off the container, What a fire hazard!

My new soothing bedtime ritual

I bought this candle in person and it was hard to pick a scent because they all smelled so good! In the end, I chose Moonlight, and I love lighting while I wind down for bed. The flickering light and soothing scent are perfect for an evening routine. I love that it uses safe waxes and only essential oils (candles with “fragrances” irritate my nose and throat, but this one doesn’t!) Just like with any candle, remember to let the entire top layer of wax melt before you blow it out to avoid channeling, so you can get the most out of it :) Will definitely be back for another when this one runs out!

Disappointed

I was a big fan of the candles that Rocky Mountain Soap used to have, particularly the London Fog one. When I went to re-stock they had replaced them with this brand. I'm really disappointed with the product for a few reasons:
1) Almost twice as expensive as the old candles ($39 compared to $24) for the same size
2) Scent is faint and seems to fade over a few months
3) The wooden wick is awful!! Makes kind of like popping/fizzing sound constantly, and the flames is very jumpy - not soothing at all to have this on in a dimly lit room as the flames casts jumping shadows. Even trimming it every time prior to burning it makes no difference.
4) Trimming it is difficult to do, and bits of charcoal drop into the candle wax. Would not buy again!!

This candle smells amazing, but it burns fast, but that’s too be expected with it being made of coconut oil. I love sound of the wick and the aroma it fill the air with. I also love that it’s all natural ingredients that’s safe for me and my kiddos.
