Recommended Use: Helps prevent sunburn. If used as directed with other sun protection measures (see Directions), decreases the risk of early skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.

Directions for Use: Apply generously (and evenly) 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours. For use on infants, children, adolescents and adults 6 months and older. Use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.

Sun protection measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. This product has been shown only to help prevent sunburn, not skin cancer or early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m.–2p.m.; and wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses. Reapply after eating or drinking.

Cautions and Warnings: For external use only. Do not use on broken or damaged skin. Stop use and ask a doctor if rash occurs. When using this product avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, call a poison control centre, or get medical help right away.

I buy so many SPF lip balms to have in every pocket and backpack. This one is really good. I love the texture and that it doesn't get goopy when applied, as many do.

I purchased the SPF 15 lip balm for our sailing trip to the Bahamas. This was my first purchase with Rocky along with their reef friendly sunscreen and after sun balm. I’ve never been on a sunny vacation longer than 4 days where I didn’t get many sun blisters - my lip usually erupts in day 4! And as a scuba diver, I want something reef safe that works when I put it on in the morning, and long enough to last the boat ride back after 2hrs of being in and on the ocean! I’ve been living in sunny Tamarindo, Costa Rica for 5 weeks now, and diving a 30min boat ride away, and not a sign of any sores even trying to show up! I apply this every morning before I go out, and through the day if I’m in the sun a lot. It’s thicker than your regular sticks, but goes on smooth and no whiteness at all, and doesn’t feel thick or sticky ever. I will never use another product! Thank you Rocky! Keeps lips moist & sun protected. Use daily & apply throughout the day. Especially when hiking, walking & doing any outdoor activities.

Doesn’t glide on lips smoothly which is disappointing. Also expiry date is in June, would have liked it a bit longer so I could also use it in summer months. Like the scent.

Chalky Appearance

The lip balm leaves a white cast. Very moisturizing and feels comfortable on the lips.

The Best

I have been buying this product since RM started making it. It was better before the recipe was changed 1-2 years ago, but still the best SPF lip butter on the market... and I have tried many in varying price ranges. I also have sensitive skin and don't wear lipstick, instead I wear this daily. My 15 year old son has also worn this for years and it is his favorite as well. I love it for the SPF protection and it is moisturizing, lasts and not a egregious price point - a quality Made in Canada, nature and skin friendly product. I do wish there was a more consistent supply throughout the year, as often it is out of stock, and it can be a little grainy. But, again, similar products are not as good. Thanks RM!

Poor. It’s hard and bits of coconut fall of it or stick to my mouth when I use it. It scrapes across your mouth and is not nice to use at all. Sorry.
