Yoga is extremely accessible to all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities – almost anyone can participate because modifications are always available to those that need them. As a result, yoga continues to grow in popularity.
If you still need a reason to give yoga a try, it has been linked to many great benefits for your mind and body – such as relaxation, de-stressing, flexibility, muscle strength and tone, just to name a few.
Whether you practice yoga once in a while or every day, that mat of yours does need to be cleaned and disinfected, believe it or not! If you practice frequently you should be spraying and wiping your mat down with a towel or cloth after every practice or at least every second class. No need to go out and buy a fancy disinfecting spray, you can make your own with just a few simple ingredients you probably already have lying around:
Prefer us to do the work? Our Cool Off Wellness Spray works great as a yoga mat cleaner.

Hi Annie,
Thank you for the quick and easy mat cleaner recipe. Who knew back in 2018 that a pandemic would come and I would have to find out how to do all kinds of things at home! At least you can still enjoy being a Dog Mom and Shavasna Enthusiast…hopefully travel will be allowed soon!
